Description: This course presents important information concerning occupational ergonomics. In order to explain the basic ergonomic risk factors that employees face in performing their everyday duties, the human body is reviewed. This program covers a number of practical ergonomic goals for employees to apply to their work such as maximizing neutral body postures and avoiding awkward postures. Force reduction and proper body mechanics are presented as methods to prevent cumulative injuries.
